Dive into Muscat rich heritage with a full day exploring the city, from dolphin watching and visiting the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque to strolling through Muttrah Souq and viewing the historic forts. Continue your adventure with a day trip to the stunning Nakhal Fort and the healing hot springs of Ayn A’Thowarah, followed by a scenic drive through Wadi Bani Awf. Discover the grandeur of Jebel Shams, Oman highest peak, and explore the ancient villages of Al Hamra and Misfah. Visit the impressive Nizwa Fort and the vibrant Friday Souq, and traverse the picturesque Jebel Akhdar for stunning views and traditional rose water production. Journey to the ancient Bronze Age tombs of Ibri Bat and Al Ain before experiencing the desert's serene beauty in Wahiba Sands. Enjoy a thrilling dune drive and a night under the stars at a desert camp. Your adventure continues with visits to Qahid Beach and Ras Al Hadd, where you can witness the incredible Green Turtles nesting. Explore Sur dhow building heritage, the lush Wadis of Tiwi and Shab, and the striking Bimmah Sinkhole. Conclude your trip with a transfer back to Muscat for your departure, leaving with unforgettable memories of Oman diverse landscapes and rich cultural tapestry.

Itinerary

Day 1

Your trip to Oman begins upon arrival Muscat International Airport. After clearing immigration and customs, you will be met in the arrivals area by our friendly chauffer who will assist you to your hotel.
Day 2

After breakfast, your guide will meet you at the hotel and escort you to a dolphin watching and sightseeing tour in Muscat. Arrive at Marina Bander Rowdha 15 minutes early to board your boat. Enjoy breathtaking views of the coastline, palm trees, and the deep blue sea during your boat ride, with light refreshments provided onboard.

Following your boat trip, your guide will take you to Qantab to unwind at the Oman Dive Center, featuring one of Muscat's most pristine beaches. You may choose to have lunch at the on-site restaurant. Next, travel along the scenic Corniche to Muttrah, Muscat’s historic district. Visit the Bait Al Zubair Museum, showcasing ancient Omani artifacts, art, and historic photos, and take photos at the gates of Al Alam Palace, flanked by the 16th-century Portuguese forts Mirani and Jalali. Please note that entry to the palace is not permitted.

In the evening, explore the traditional Muttrah Souq, where you can bargain for spices, silk scarves, handicrafts, and silver items, experiencing the vibrant market atmosphere of Muscat.
Day 3

Start your full-day city tour with a visit to the stunning Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, one of the largest mosques in the Middle East. Next, explore the Amouage Factory, renowned for its luxurious Omani perfumes, before heading to Rustaq in the Al Batinah region. Discover Rustaq Fort, an imposing three-level structure built centuries before Islam, featuring separate living quarters, an armory, a mosque, and towering fortifications. Continue to Nakhal to see its 17th-century fort perched on a mountain peak, surrounded by an oasis. Experience the therapeutic warm springs of Ayn A’Thowarah, known for their healing properties. Conclude the day with a drive through the scenic Wadi Bani Auf, navigating its rugged, winding roads before returning to Muscat for the evening
Day 4

The journey continues with a visit to Al Hamra and Misfah, where you’ll see some of the oldest villages in Oman. These villages feature traditional mud houses over 400 years old and the ancient afalaj irrigation system, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site. Next, you’ll travel to Wadi Gul and Wadi Nakhar, two remote villages situated at the edge of a dramatic canyon. The adventure culminates with a trip to the summit of Jebel Shams, the highest peak in Oman at 3009 meters, offering breathtaking views of the Grand Canyon. You’ll return to Nizwa for an overnight stay.
Day 5

In the morning, explore the historic Nizwa Fort, renowned for its massive Circular Cannon Tower, and visit the traditional Cattle Market and Friday Souq if available. Continue your journey to Jebel Akhdar, starting with a tour of the picturesque Birkat Al Mauz village at its base, featuring ancient mud and straw houses. Ascend Jebel Akhdar to admire its famous rose, fruit, and nut plantations, with opportunities to visit the renowned rose water factory. Enjoy panoramic views of terraced plantations and the surrounding villages. Optionally, trek through the wadi from Al Aqur village, and explore the hanging gardens and Wadi Bani Habib, an abandoned village offering a scenic escape in the cool mountain air. Overnight in Nizwa.
DAY 6

After breakfast, the tour departs for Ibri Bat, a small village renowned for its exceptional Bronze Age tombs, towers, and ruins, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1988. Dating back to 2000-3000 BC, this site, along with nearby Al Ayn, is celebrated by UNESCO as "the most complete collection of 3rd millennium BC settlements and necropolises in the world." Discover the historical significance of Ibri Bat, where ancient structures offer a fascinating glimpse into early human civilization.
Day 7

After breakfast, explore the vibrant camel market in Sinaw before visiting the historic village of Munsifa with its traditional clay houses. Proceed to the mesmerizing Wahiba Sands, an expansive sea of red and white dunes that rise up to 100 meters. The striking landscape features rusty red bases and honey-colored tops, creating a captivating visual experience. The dunes are home to the Bedouin, who traditionally roamed with goats and camels or now reside in small villages. Enjoy an exhilarating dune drive and capture stunning sunset photos. Conclude your day with an overnight stay in a desert camp under the starry sky, enhancing your experience of this enchanting desert landscape.
Day 8

After breakfast, depart from the camp and journey across the Wahiba Sands dunes to Qahid, a drive that can take up to 4 hours before reaching Ras Al Hadd. Along the way, enjoy a picnic lunch at Al Ashkara Beach. In the evening, visit the Ras Al Jinz Turtle Sanctuary to witness Green Turtles arriving to nest after their long migration. Return to your hotel in Ras Al Hadd for the night. This experience offers a unique glimpse into Oman’s natural beauty and wildlife, perfect for any travel itinerary.
DAY 9

After breakfast, the tour will proceed to Sur, a historic center renowned for its dhow building industry and maritime trade. Explore the Dhow Building Yard and Al Ayja village, then continue to Qalhat, known for its spice trade history with India and the Bibi Miryam Tomb, which is currently closed for archaeological work. Next, immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Wadi Tiwi and Wadi Shab, where you can walk through lush plantations and swim in the serene green pools. The journey then takes you to the Bimmah Sinkhole, a stunning limestone crater with crystal-clear waters perfect for swimming. After a day of exploration, return to Muscat.
Day 10

Transfer from hotel to airport for departure.
