Overview

A scenic journey along the Gulf of Oman, starting in the capital city of Muscat and heading south to the small fishing village of Quriyat. Along the way, you will be able to witness the stunning natural beauty of the region, including the Bimah Sinkhole, a natural crater in the limestone, as well as swimming and snorkeling in the clear green waters of Fins Beach. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to explore the lush vegetation of Wadi Shab, and Wadi Tiwi, another stunning wadi with high cliffs. The tour also includes a visit to Qalhat, where you can see ancient ruins and the tomb of Bibi Mariam, and a stop in Sur to see traditional dhow building and charming places like the lighthouse of Ayga and the Corniche Road. The tour concludes with a return to Muscat via the Muscat-Sur highway.

Itinerary

Day 1

This tour takes you on a scenic trip along the coast to Sur, Oman. Starting in Muscat, you will travel southward along Wadi Hatat to reach the small fishing village of Quriyat. The road then offers breathtaking views of the Gulf of Oman as you make your way to Sur. Along the way, you'll stop at Bimah Sinkhole to see a natural crater in the limestone and have the opportunity to swim and snorkel in its clear green water. You'll also have the chance to swim at Fins Beach, a beach with incredibly white sand. Not far from there is the beautiful Wadi Shab, where you can cross a narrow bridge and walk along the river bed to explore its lush vegetation. You'll also visit Wadi Tiwi, another stunning wadi with high cliffs, and Qalhat, where you can see Bibi Mariam's tomb and ancient ruins. In Sur, you'll see the traditional dhow building and visit charming places like the lighthouse of Ayga and the Corniche Road before returning to Muscat via the Muscat-Sur highway.
