Discover the picturesque coastal route of Oman, adorned with some of the country's most stunning wadis. Departing from Muscat, our route leads us southward along Wadi Hatat towards the charming fishing town of Quriyat. As we journey onwards, the graded road unveils breathtaking vistas of the Gulf of Oman, offering a mesmerizing parallel view of the coast en route to Sur.
Our adventure begins at Bimah Sinkhole, where nature showcases a spectacular limestone crater formed by the collapse of a cave roof, housing clear green brackish waters perfect for swimming and snorkeling. Continuing along the coast, we encounter the pristine shores of Fins Beach, inviting us to indulge in crystal-clear waters and pristine white sands.
A short distance away lies the enchanting Wadi Shab, where a narrow bridge beckons us to traverse the wadi and explore its verdant greenery along the riverbed. Further along, Wadi Tiwi captivates with its towering cliffs and fertile lands, harboring quaint villages where local farmers cultivate an array of fruits and vegetables.
After immersing ourselves in the natural splendor of Oman's coastal wadis, we return to Muscat via the same scenic route, enriched by the beauty and serenity of the journey.
