Itinerary

Day 1

The tour begins with an early morning departure to Nakhl where we will explore Wadi Bani Awf, We will then travel through the mountains to the village of Bilad Sayt. Our journey will continue to Al Hamra and then up to the peak of Jebel Shams, also known as the Sun Mountain. We will stay at the resort in Jebel Shams and enjoy the stunning atmosphere of the top of Oman

Day 2

After breakfast, we will take a short hike along the edge of Oman's Grand Canyon, providing breathtaking views of the mountains and rugged landscape. We will then travel through Wadi Ghul and Al Hamra, visiting Bait Al Safa, a traditional Omani house. The tour will include a visit to the ancient village of Misfah, where we will walk through the winding paths to see the terraced gardens of lime, banana and date trees. Our final stop for the day will be in Nizwa, where we will spend the night in a hotel.

Day 3

The next day, we will explore Nizwa, visiting the traditional Souq and the famous Round Fort. We will take a walk through the old city of Nizwa, before traveling to the golden Wahiba Sands Desert. We will arrive in time to watch the sunset across the dunes and spend the night at the permanent camp.

Day 4

On the final day, there will be an opportunity to ride camels, meet with a nomadic Bedouin family, purchase souvenirs, and experience 4-wheel dune driving. We will then travel to Wadi Bani Khalid, where we will take an easy walk to the blue rock pools and have time for a refreshing swim in the wadi before returning to Muscat. The tour will provide a comprehensive experience of Oman, including wadis, mountains, canyons, mountain villages, history, desert, and the people of Oman.
